The Erasmus+ project Escape2EU is coming to Italy!

June 3, 2024

The institute ITI “Ferraris” of Empoli is happy to announce, together with Fondazione Toscana Sostenibile, that it will be the first to participate in the experimentation of this new educational device. Still in its embryonic phase in fact, the “Escape2EU” project intends to build an escape room game in order to entertain boys and girls while they learn important skills such as: teamwork and social inclusiveness; to this end, two third classes will participate in the first phase of the project to provide educators with the necessary cues to create usable, interactive and concrete content.

The collection methodology that was chosen for the first meeting, which was held this morning, is that of the video interview. After an initial phase of getting to know and creating teams, students engaged in interviewing their peers by asking questions on the topic of long-distance travel. Some of these were, for example, “How often do you travel?”, “What is your memory of your first trip?” or even “How friendly was the host community?”

At the end of the workshop conducted by volunteers trained by Fondazione Toscana Sostenibile, the participants all watched videos of some of the interviews together and commented positively on the experience. They had fun and shared some quite intimate emotions and memories away from the school quotient.

Thank you FTS, we look forward to playing together with the memories we gave you. See you soon!
